¡Feliz Navidad! / Happy Christmas!

Te deseo una muy feliz Navidad: mucho color, horas para disfrutar de la familia y tiempo para que hagas aquello que te apetece tanto. Yo he tenido un ratito para mis fieltros :)

Qué bien huele mi armario / My wardrobe’s fragrance

Las cosas que nos gustan no sólo las percibimos por la vista, sino por el resto de los sentidos. Estos vestiditos además de resultar bonitos por sus colores y detalles,  tienen un ingrediente secreto:  huelen de maravilla. Debajo de sus faldas guardan un pequeño cojín lleno de una arena especial impregnada de una esencia que huele a ropa recién tendida al sol. Así que si con ayuda de su pequeña percha los cuelgas junto con tus vestidos y camisas, estos olerán igual de bien.

¿Cúal de ellos os gusta más? A mí me resulta complicado decidirme por uno :)

 

You can perceive the things you like through your eyes and with the help of the other senses. These little dresses are beautiful for their colours and special details, but they also keep a secret: they smell really nice. Under their skirts they have a little cushion that has inside a special sand filled with a essence that reminds the clothes just been hanged out under the spring sun. So if you hang them among your dresses and shirts helped with their little hook, your clothes will smell wonderful.

Which one do you like best? I like all of them :)

¡Qué aproveche! / Enjoy your meal!

Una fieltro-merienda: café con pastelito. Y con un montón de cosas ricas como arándanos, nata montada y de remate una fresa bien hermosa. ¡Qué aproveche!

A felt-afternoon snack: a cup of coffee with a little cake. And lots of other delicious things as blueberries, whipped cream and a big strawberry on the top. Enjoy your meal!

Leo: el perro de Ague / Leo: Ague's dog

Como la mayoría de Beagles, Leo no para quieto (aunque en estas fotos estaba muy tranquilito...) Se lo pasa pipa correteando por todos lados y siguiendo a Ague allá donde va ella. Además le encanta dar paseos con Carlos, y de paso ver a los otros perros del vecindario.

As most of Beagles, Leo is always moving (although he looks herevery calm...). He enjoys running everywhere and following to Agueda wherever she goes. Also, he loves going for a walk with Carlos and taking the opportunity to have fun with the neighbourhood dogs.

Canica azul / Blue marble

Hacía mucho que no hacía un broche de fieltro con mis canicas de madera. El proceso es sencillo: elijo una que me guste y a partir de su dibujo y colores me  inspiro para hacer el broche. En este caso, líneas geométricas azules.

 

 

 

Long time ago I didn't make a felt brooch with my wood marbles. The process is simple: I choose one marble that I like it, and then I find inspiration by its pattern and colours to make the brooch. In this case, geometric blue lines.

Colinas en fieltro / Felted hills

Otro cuadrito de fieltro más. Esta vez me he dejado inspirar por las colinas de los montes, y sus bosques. Me encantaría echarme una buena siesta a la sombra de estos árboles...

Another little felt picture more. This time I've been inspired by the mountains' hills and their woods. I'd love having a nap under the shadows of these trees...

Librería de fieltro / Felted bookcase

A Eva le gustan muchísimo los libros, tanto que trabaja rodeada de miles de ellos en una biblioteca universitaria enorme. Como homenaje a su gran pasión, le he hecho una pequeña librería de fieltro repleta de libros de colores para que adorne sus camisetas.

Eva loves books, so that she works surrounded by thousands of them in a huge university library. To celebrate her great passion I have made  a little book case with felt full of books to decorate her clothes.

Un rojo subido / A deep red

Sí, ha subido tanto que se me ha puesto en el pelo. El rojo es el protagonista de esta diadema de flores de fieltro y tul.

 A deep red shines in my hair. It is the main protagonist of this diadem with felt flowers and tulle.

Mar de fieltro / Felt sea

Eva antes hacía unos cuadros impresionantes y por falta de tiempo hace mucho que no pinta ninguno. Así que para recordarle que sus pinceles y su creatividad le están esperando, le he hecho este cuadrito para que "cuelgue" donde quiera. Además, en verano apetece tener el mar cerca, aunque sea de fieltro.

My friend Eva used to paint wonderful pictures long time ago. But now she hasn't enough free time to paint again. So I've sewed this little picture in order to remind Eva that her creativity and her paintbrushes are waiting for her. She can hang it wherever she wants. Also, it's nice be close to the sea in summer, although it's a felt sea.

Una bruja verde de fieltro / A green felt witch

Hay un montón de brujas en muchos cuentos. Pero la preferida de Lorena es Elphaba, la bruja verde de Oz. Así que como me pidió que le hiciera una bruja en fieltro, no dudé en hacer mi propia versión con la piel verde. Y sí, es cierto, lleva ropa interior ;)...

There are many witches in a lot of tales. So when Lorena asked me for sewing a witch with felt, I had no doubt: of choosing Elphaba, the green witch of Oz, hers favourite one. She looks so sweet with her green skin! And, yes, it's true... she wears knickers ;)...

Estrella afieltrada / Felted star

No suelo usar mucho la lana afieltrada, pero me gusta utilizarla para conseguir texturas diferentes. ¡Da un volumen alucinante!
Esta estrella afieltrada ha quedado tan gordita que me recuerda a una esponja marina.

I don't usually use felted wool by hand, but I enjoy using it to obtain different textures. It gives an amazing volume!
This felted star looks so thick, that reminds me of a sea sponge.
