Te deseo una muy feliz Navidad: mucho color, horas para disfrutar de la familia y tiempo para que hagas aquello que te apetece tanto. Yo he tenido un ratito para mis fieltros :)

Qué bien huele mi armario / My wardrobe’s fragrance

Las cosas que nos gustan no sólo las percibimos por la vista, sino por el resto de los sentidos. Estos vestiditos además de resultar bonitos por sus colores y detalles,  tienen un ingrediente secreto:  huelen de maravilla. Debajo de sus faldas guardan un pequeño cojín lleno de una arena especial impregnada de una esencia que huele a ropa recién tendida al sol. Así que si con ayuda de su pequeña percha los cuelgas junto con tus vestidos y camisas, estos olerán igual de bien.

¿Cúal de ellos os gusta más? A mí me resulta complicado decidirme por uno :)

 

You can perceive the things you like through your eyes and with the help of the other senses. These little dresses are beautiful for their colours and special details, but they also keep a secret: they smell really nice. Under their skirts they have a little cushion that has inside a special sand filled with a essence that reminds the clothes just been hanged out under the spring sun. So if you hang them among your dresses and shirts helped with their little hook, your clothes will smell wonderful.

Which one do you like best? I like all of them :)

Una fieltro-merienda: café con pastelito. Y con un montón de cosas ricas como arándanos, nata montada y de remate una fresa bien hermosa. ¡Qué aproveche!

Leo: el perro de Ague / Leo: Ague's dog

Como la mayoría de Beagles, Leo no para quieto (aunque en estas fotos estaba muy tranquilito...) Se lo pasa pipa correteando por todos lados y siguiendo a Ague allá donde va ella. Además le encanta dar paseos con Carlos, y de paso ver a los otros perros del vecindario.

As most of Beagles, Leo is always moving (although he looks herevery calm...). He enjoys running everywhere and following to Agueda wherever she goes. Also, he loves going for a walk with Carlos and taking the opportunity to have fun with the neighbourhood dogs.

Canica azul / Blue marble

Hacía mucho que no hacía un broche de fieltro con mis canicas de madera. El proceso es sencillo: elijo una que me guste y a partir de su dibujo y colores me  inspiro para hacer el broche. En este caso, líneas geométricas azules.

 

 

 

Long time ago I didn't make a felt brooch with my wood marbles. The process is simple: I choose one marble that I like it, and then I find inspiration by its pattern and colours to make the brooch. In this case, geometric blue lines.

Funda para ebook: chocolate / Ebook case: chocolate

Como esta funda para ebook Kindle es para un chico, he elegido unas telas de estampado más discreto y con un color predominante: el marrón chocolate. Es uno de mis colores favoritos, lo encuentro muy elegante, favorecedor y combina genial con colores más claros como el blanco.



As this Kindle ebook reader cover is for a man, I have choose fabrics with discreet chocolate brown patterns. This colour is one of my favourites, I find it very stylish and flattering, it perfectly combines with light colours as white.

Colinas en fieltro / Felted hills

Otro cuadrito de fieltro más. Esta vez me he dejado inspirar por las colinas de los montes, y sus bosques. Me encantaría echarme una buena siesta a la sombra de estos árboles...

Another little felt picture more. This time I've been inspired by the mountains' hills and their woods. I'd love having a nap under the shadows of these trees...

Librería de fieltro / Felted bookcase

A Eva le gustan muchísimo los libros, tanto que trabaja rodeada de miles de ellos en una biblioteca universitaria enorme. Como homenaje a su gran pasión, le he hecho una pequeña librería de fieltro repleta de libros de colores para que adorne sus camisetas.

Eva loves books, so that she works surrounded by thousands of them in a huge university library. To celebrate her great passion I have made  a little book case with felt full of books to decorate her clothes.

Bolso tote / Tote bag

Ya que no me pude quedar la funda para ebook que hice en el anterior post, me he hecho un bolso tipo "tote" con la misma tela.
Este tipo de bolso es supercómodo para meter un montón de trastos, y más ahora en verano: no se puede salir de casa sin las gafas de sol, la botellita de agua y el abanico, a parte del resto de cosas que se suelen llevar. Además, tiene el tamaño ideal para llevar una carpeta o libros, por si uno tiene que ir a clase.
Para hacerlo he seguido este tutorial de Noodlehead, con alguna modificación que he hecho y le he incluido un bolsillo con cremallera en el interior.

As I couldn't keep with the ebook reader case that I showed you on last post, I've made a tote bag with he same fabric.
This kind of bag is very nice to put a lot of things in it, especially now in summer, because you can't leave home without sunglasses, a bottle of water and a fan (Madrid is really hot these days!), apart from the rest of things you usually take in your bag. Also, it has a perfect size to carry your books or folders if you go to your lessons.
I've followed this tutorial by Noodlehead. I have made some changes as including an inner zipper pocket.

Funda para ebook: flor oriental / Ebook case: Oriental flower

Me suelo encariñar con lo que hago, ya que le pongo mucha ilusión a cada uno de los proyectos que realizo. Pero esta vez me ha sido muy difícil desprenderme de esta funda para un Kindle que me encargaron. ¡La quiero para mí!

I usually grow fond of my handmade orders, because I like make with love all of my handmade things. But it has been very difficult to give this Kindle cover to its new owner. I want it!

 ¿No es una tela impresionante? La tela me llamó a gritos desde la tienda: qué flor, con ese aire tan oriental, rodeada de ramitas... y el interior, para contrastar, coordinada con una tela de lunares, un motivo neutro para que no distraiga la lectura.

This fabric is so beautiful... it called me from the shop " buy me, buy me!!" The flower has an oriental air that I love. Inside I chose a neutral and coordinated polka dot fabric to don't distract from reading.
